Let’s change the way we look at the ocean.
Océanopolis Brest, the National Centre for Scientific Culture dedicated to the ocean, is a unique European centre for sharing knowledge, helping visitors to understand the planet’s various marine ecosystems and better preserve them.
In 2026, Océanopolis is undergoing a major transformation (with the Tropical and Austral pavilions currently being refurbished) but remains open at a special rate, offering a revamped programme centred around its aquariums, activities and guided tours. Come and (re)discover the Brittany Pavilion, the Otter Trail, the new interactive and fun Cité des Océanautes for the whole family, the Océanolab research laboratory, as well as four new themed gardens of botanical interest! Reopening in summer 2026.
