70.8 in Brest
More than ever open to the ocean, Brest will unveil a new tourist and cultural centre dedicated to innovation and marine technologies in July 2020.
Its name: 70.8 in reference to the percentage that oceans occupy on our planet.
The permanent exhibit of 70.8 displays the contribution of nearly 130 partners, including academics, research institutes, companies and start-ups. 70.8 invites us to explore and observe the ocean to better protect it and understand the fundamental role that it plays in global climate and environmental issues. Biotechnologies, resources, observation, maritime routes, transport and ships of tomorrow… Welcome to the Ocean of Tomorrow.
